Head to Afton State Park on Saturday, December 9th from 1-4pm for a Forage + ID Meet-Up!

It will be a low-key space for people who are interested in foraging and IDing cool things in nature to meet and learn from each other.

Park and Meet at the Visitor Center (44.853451, -92.774745).

Unless you have an MN State Park Pass, there is a $7/car charge to enter. Regulations allow picking fruits, seeds and mushrooms for personal use. 

The event is free. Trails will likely be difficult from an accessibility standpoint due to snow. Check out Afton's website for more park info.

We had a lovely trip to Sax-Zim Bog! We saw pitcher plants, sundews, mosses, bog rosemary mushrooms, spiders and more at the Winterberry, Indian Pipe and Yellow-Bellied bogs.

First ever Lilac Fest!

May 20th from 1-4:30PM.

Free: lilac syrup making, flower pounding, embroidery skillshare and lilac suncatcher making.

Plus: 16 vendors, mutual aid fundraising and a Honey Medicine class.

COVID: masks are required at activity stations and festivalgoers must not crowd when they are queuing to visit vendors.
