Lilac Fest 2024!
Saturday, May 18th from 1-4 pm at 2614 30th Ave S in Minneapolis.
Celebrate spring with lilac syrup making, nettle cordage bracelets, lilac iced tea!
Register for a foraging walk with Wide Eyed Outside from 1:45 -3pm or a Dandelion Medicine Class from 3-5pm with herbalist Sylvia Charlie Sparks!
Head to Afton State Park on Saturday, December 9th from 1-4pm for a Forage + ID Meet-Up!
It will be a low-key space for people who are interested in foraging and IDing cool things in nature to meet and learn from each other.
Park and Meet at the Visitor Center (44.853451, -92.774745).
Unless you have an MN State Park Pass, there is a $7/car charge to enter. Regulations allow picking fruits, seeds and mushrooms for personal use.
The event is free. Trails will likely be difficult from an accessibility standpoint due to snow. Check out Afton's website for more park info.
